Montgomery College to Provide a $1,000 "Raptor Ready" Tuition Scholarship to 2025 Montgomery County High School Graduates

Montgomery College (MC) is providing a $1,000 tuition scholarship to Montgomery County residents who are spring 2025 graduates from a Montgomery County high school and register for and attend six credit hours in the fall 2025 semester at Montgomery College or fall courses in one of the selected WDCE programs. The $1,000 “Raptor Ready” Scholarship may only be applied to fall 2025 tuition and fees, and the application MUST be completed by August 1, 2025. The first 1,000 eligible applicants will be considered for the scholarship with all others added to a waitlist.
Students may also use the scholarship toward the tuition and fee cost of select WDCE programs:
- Clinical Medical Assistant
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Early Childhood Education
In order to get the scholarship, students need to:
- Be admitted to Montgomery College prior to applying for the Raptor Ready Scholarship; Register for and attend at least six credit hours this fall;
- Complete the Raptor Ready Scholarship application by August 1, 2025;
- Be one of the first 1,000 applicants; all others will be placed on a waitlist.
