How It Works:
  1. Call to schedule your appointment with the Mobile Health Center: 202-347-8512
  2. Attend your scheduled appointment on the Rockville campus near the parking garage.
  3. Complete the short wellness survey onsite after your visit.
  4. You’re automatically entered into our Wellness Gift Bundle Raffle!

You can enter more than once — each appointment = a new chance to win!

What Is the Carol Whitehill Moses Mobile Health Center?

The CWMMHC is a mobile medical unit that travels to Montgomery College campuses to provide affordable, student-centered health care for credit and non-credit (WDCE) students.

  • Services are low-cost or free with financial assistance
  • No student is turned away because of inability to pay
  • All care is confidential, professional, and compassionate

Note: The services are not free by default, but financial support is available to ensure access for all students.

Services Offered

The Mobile Health Center provides:
  • General primary care visits & physical exams
  • Health screenings (blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes)
  • STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection) testing and treatment
  • HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) testing and prevention services
  • Birth control, contraception education, and emergency contraception
  • Pregnancy testing and options counseling
  • Gender-affirming care and referrals
  • Breast health checks
  • Mental and behavioral health services
What to Bring
  • Credit students: Please bring your Montgomery College student ID
  • WDCE students (non-credit): Please bring a government-issued photo ID and your course schedule
  • If you have health insurance: Please bring your insurance card as proof of coverage.

All services are private and confidential. Your health information is not shared with Montgomery College, your professors, or any other department. Care is delivered directly by the mobile health care team with respect, professionalism, and full legal protection of your privacy.

About the Mobile Center

It’s a mobile medical unit that brings health services directly to Montgomery College campuses.

The CWMMHC is currently based at the Rockville Campus. As demand grows and scheduling allows, it will expand to serve other campuses.

All enrolled students at Montgomery College, including those in credit programs and non-credit (WDCE) programs.

Access & Scheduling

Call 202-347-8512 to speak directly with someone and book your visit.

Appointments are strongly recommended to guarantee service, but walk-ins may be accepted depending on availability.

STI stands for Sexually Transmitted Infection—such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, or HIV. These infections can be treated confidentially through the Mobile Health Center.

A: HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It weakens the immune system and is spread through contact with certain bodily fluids. Testing, prevention, and treatment services are available through the mobile unit.

Cost & Financial Assistance

Some services may have a cost, but financial assistance is available, and no student will be turned away because they can’t pay.

If you don’t have health insurance or can’t afford the service, you can still receive care. In addition to payment plans for those unable to pay for services up front, financial assistance may also come in the form of reduced or waived costs based on your situation.  Just speak with the clinic team.

Confidentiality

No. All medical services are confidential. Your records are private and are not shared with anyone at Montgomery College.

No, but if you do have insurance, you can use it. If you don’t, financial help is available.
